Masque Soiree: Creative Genius
This article mentions me by my former last name, Zawi Borsa. Masque Soire'e was created to lighten the mood for the mask mandate of the COVID lockdown. It was inspired by the re-opening challenges that many businesses faced. For the Wonder Gardens, canceling the annual gala was a loss of their major fundraising event for the year. I created the Masque Soire'e as a solution and it was sold out at the allotted capacity of 350 people. This event proved that live art & nature events can connect, heal, and support businesses, even in trying times.
Return to Art and Nature
This article mentions me by my former last name, Zawi Borsa. This article captures the ongoing support and growth of the monthly event I designed to market the many offerings available while building meaningful community support. This event showcased wellness classes, an organic spa, farm-to-table dining, private events, and more. By uniting all demographics in one amazing night, we became the place to be and the business grew. I curated this ever-changing event every month for 5 years.

Gallery lets its art patrons breathe
This article uses my maiden name Kimberly Zawislak (from which Zawi is derived), and describes the concept of Movements Gallery which I co-founded in my early 20s. This is where my initial understanding of community, live art, and multi-media events began. By creating a non-judgemental art space, we quickly and quietly became the place for local, up-and-coming artists to showcase, experiment, collaborate, and evolve freely. For the patrons, we were known for the unexpected, memorable, and evolved.
